‘Muse: Enter the Simulation’ VR Concert Experience

The 'Muse: Enter the Simulation' VR concert experience recreates the band’s July 2019 performance at Wanda Stadium in Madrid. Users attend the concert in avatar form, immersed in a 360-degree view of the concert, with 16 viewpoints available. My involvement was focused on ensuring that the final product was free of any stitching issues and provided a seamless experience for the users.

I was hired by Light Sail VR as a 360° VR Stitcher for the Concert Experience. My role was to stitch each of the 16 camera angles captured for this innovative experience. We resolved the challenges of each camera angle, using SGO and Adobe tools to ensure that each angle was free of any stitch issues.

The project is a great example of recording 360° video during live performances and creating additional experiential media for sale afterward. I believe that more opportunities will arise once a profitable distribution model is established. The end result, an intimate virtual concert experience, is fantastic.
