The Playoffs | Overtime Elite

I was hired by Light Sail VR to work as the 360° Stitcher and Online Editor for their VR series, The Playoffs, in partnership with Overtime Sports. My role was to provide the necessary 3D 360° stitching for the 150-200 shots per episode. Over a period of four months, using Mistika Boutique, I worked closely with the Light Sail VR team to eliminate both stitching artifacts and camera gak from each episode. Despite the close camera proximity needs of the project, we were able to utilize intimate perspectives such as being inside the huddle with the team and utilizing unique perspectives like a 360 hoop cam and sideline POVs.

With the entire 3-part series running just under 40 minutes, I am proud of the work we were able to do in those short 16 weeks. The immersive series highlights the in-depth training of young basketball talents at the state-of-the-art Overtime Arena facility in Atlanta and their journey to become NBA draft picks in 2023-24. The successful collaboration resulted in a high-quality final product that showcases the incredible basketball talent of the next generation of players.
